AST HISTORY:
Founded in 1988, Advanced Silicon Technology (AST) was a resource for CMOS, Bipolar and Bi-CMOS
integrated circuit design and layout services.
We specialized in high performance and high density full custom chip design. Our
experienced designers, combined with our automated layout generation tools, reduced time to
market and cost.
We worked with most major foundries including:
TSMC, UMC, AMI, ASMC, XFAB, POLARFAB, JAZZ, ZARLINK, MOSIS, EUROPRACTICE and many others.
Our methodology allowed us to produce integrated circuits that were easily adapted to different
foundries.
We were located in Southern California, 15 miles
south of Los Angeles.
